About Arrow of Light
Arrow of Light is the highest rank in Cub Scouts and the only Cub Scout badge that can be worn on the Scouts BSA uniform. 5th graders complete their Cub Scout journey and prepare to cross over into a Scouts BSA troop. Scouts may join the Troop when they are 11 years old, or 10 years old and in 5th grade (on or after March 1), or have earned the Arrow of Light rank. 5th graders typically start the year in the Pack and transition to the Troop by the end of the school year.

Bridging to Scouts BSA
Arrow of Light Scouts who complete the program may bridge to a Scouts BSA troop, often mid-year. Our Pack works closely with Troop 519 to ensure a smooth transition.
