About Us
Our Story
Daniel Island Scouts is home to Cub Scout Pack 519 and Scouts BSA Troop 519. Together, our units serve families across Daniel Island and the surrounding communities of Charleston, South Carolina.
Chartered by the Church of the Holy Spirit on Daniel Island, our Scouting program has been shaping the character of local youth for years. We are committed to providing a safe, fun, and challenging environment where young people develop leadership skills, learn to serve others, and build lifelong friendships.
Cub Scout Pack 519
K–5th Grade · Ages 5–11
A fun, family-centered program focused on character development, outdoor adventure, service, and building friendships. Scouts advance by completing “adventures” through games, activities, service projects, and time outdoors.
No fundraising requirement.

A youth-led, leadership-focused outdoor program. Scouts develop life skills through camping, leadership roles, service, merit badges, and hands-on learning. Advancement is self-paced and based on personal responsibility.

Our Charter Organization
Both of our units are chartered by the Church of the Holy Spirit, located on Daniel Island. The church provides meeting space and organizational support, partnering with our volunteer leaders to deliver a top-quality Scouting program.
As a chartered organization, the Church of the Holy Spirit helps ensure that our units uphold the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law while serving the families of our community.
